G'day, I'm 66 and have been writing original songs nearly all my life (never professionally) and I've decided to put them up onto YouTube for free. I've just started putting them up and so far have 17 of my songs on YouTube. By the end of the year I hope to have about 60 or so songs on that site.
It's not commercial pop/rock or anything like that. It's soft, laid back folk songs, sometimes with a blues/ragtime feel. Every song is vocal/acoustic guitar, and all the recordings are home recordings and sung/played by me. They are mostly "story" type songs.
Here's one of my songs, called "My Mother's Love":
To hear more of my songs just type my name into the search box on the YouTube website. Thanks.

Don't get to excited I am sort of tone deaf but I know what I like. My Mothers Love is great.
I would like to wish you all the best and enjoy what you are sharing. Ralph.

Thanks for all the comments folks. Appreciated. I'm not really a grey nomad, but I definitely am "grey". If I had more $$$ I'd probably be traveling around a bit, but I'm happy in Broken Hill; hey that reminds me of a song, ha ha..........
