Hi there everyone. Well yes we have taken advice from those on here who share it. Got our Wasp spray for attacking bears, bulls n anything else that may look feral. Got Wikicamps loaded and have the trip sort of in tact. Having trouble getting the little Drag thingy to work on the left of the screen. User error no doubt. Got the genie caged n covered on the back. Have small chain and padlock to stop honest people working off with our rusty BBQ n Camp chairs while we are off exploring. Have hooked up the TV and antenna with no success so the Digitech antenna is being returned and will check out others options on this trip. Bring out the books n scrabble I say. Strip lighting in place. ( now settle, not stripping, to darn cold for that rubbish.) Have some sites booked, others noted, n fingers x'd for some free/cheap options when needed. Full gas bottle +1small. Bucket for washing while we drive. hope that works . lol Clothesline brackets attached. No point borrowing anything off that when its up as everything will have holes in it and paint stains. Always a great deterrent. Oh have I missed anything. ?? . Maybe your suggestions will make the lights come on.
Thanks Dazzalyn

Mmmm, let me see now
Wallet and Purse. Munchies for that BBQ. Some vegie's and salad stuff if you must. With the vegie's, I steam some mixed fresh vegie's and pumpkin then crush it all together, not mash, sort of a rough mash. I then put in zip lock bags and flatten and freeze, takes up less room. All that is needed is heat in some boiling water or heat up in a dry frypan, just like the good old bubble and squeek. Easy peasy.
Probably the most important thing is, well, happy hour comes to mind
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.
Edit...Not sure why when or how but I seem to have not welcomed you so, welcome to the gang, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Have a happy & safe trip. Take it easy & keep warm.
After a couple of nights camping in the bush, you'll find out what you brought an excess of & what you really needed. If there is anything, you can pick it up in the next town.

Happy travels Dazzalyn, Just one thing that I might suggest............
DON'T FORGET YOU'RE NUTS, Wheel nuts that is, at the end of your first days travel, have a quick look at the wheel nuts on your Caravan, give them a check and just make sure they are still tight, nuts have been known to come loose with movement, so a quick glance with a spanner might save a bit of trouble further down the road.
We all hope you have a great trip, take it slow and easy , see all you can see, It's a heck of a big country out there, enjoy.

Talking wheel nuts.
EVERY time you stop.
Walk round the rig. Hand on every wheel tyre and hub.
Tyres for temp's IE pressures
Hot too soft warmish, fine.
Hubs. for bearings and brakes.
Either wrong. You'll pull away quick.
A good thing to buy is a Laser Temp Hand gun.
Around $35ish.
Point at spot you want and shoot.
It'll read temp's for you.
Google wheel\tyre temp.s. It'll give you the average readings you need.
And when taking off. quick shufty at hitch. Cables and chains.
The first to be disconnected and just sitting there.
WON'T be the last.
Specially in truck stops. Some don't like us.
Happened to us last trip up coming through NSW.

Thanks heaps for your help and as I am not shy I may be saying hi to you on the road. never know.
