Got a warning from NSW Seniors card today, whooping cough doing the rounds again, particularly for us young folks. So coughed up for $44 while getting flu jab. Gives BOOSTRIX Vaccination, Diptheria,Tetanus and whooping cough(pertussis). If like me, never stepped on a rusty nail, nor stabbed with a blunt knife since old triple antigens/ of 1950's probably a worthwhile investment. cheers Craig

I had whooping cough last year.......began coughing in January, finished coughing October.......I would cough till I gagged...thought I would break a rib.
Not pleasant!!
Couldn't imagine a small baby surviving a dose of this awful thing.
Please ....if you don't want another ailment to make your life miserable, or are having any contact with small babies add Boostrix to your flu jab this year.

Rosie, I actually did break rib from coughing about 7 years ago, it's not fun first you think you are going to die - after about two weeks you just want to die. - I now keep all my vaccinations up to date.

I just about fell over when the Dr told me I got whooping cough years ago. It terrified me wondering if I would not be able to breathe. Cannot imagine how terrifying it must be for a baby.
