x 2 for the Exhibition Park. Great central location (close to the war Memorial) and cheap.

What about the Queanbeyan one. I've heard good reports. On the right side of town. Whereas the Exhibition Park is on the opposite side. Queanbeyan may be closer.

I have been told by reliable travellers, that there is a bus which goes past the Exhibition Park, and that the best way to see everything, is by bus

Don't know about van parks but there's some good free camps with views available that would be right up your alley Ron.

We stayed at the ex Park , ammenities are ok , theres a fresh food market there every sat morn fresh coffee , and produce , great atmosphere to absorb .
On Sunday morning theres a excellent market with everything so many goodies and crafts , its the old bus depot market .
Pity you only have a couple of days theres so much to see in Canberra , it would have to be the best city in Aust by far .

Trust me.........Epic is closer to the War Memorial than anything in Q'byn. Just head down Phillip Ave, into Majura Ave and follow your nose. It's about 7km and an easy drive.

Posted using my phone, I didn't think it worked the first time............obviously it did. Hope I haven't used up my weekly quota of font.
But it's cold in winter there & the facilities have NO heating!
