If you supply a model and number, someone with that particular model may be able to give a few tips
In a normal situation a fridge door has two hinges, one at the top and one at the bottom It is normal to place the door on the bottom hinge, and then there is some method of fitting, and tightening the top hinge
The door falling off, usually means that one of the hinges has come loose
I know nothing of Domestic brand caravan fridges But the Dometic brand caravan fridge, has plenty of information on the net

It's pretty obvious, get a new fridge. If the door has fallen off a refrigerator it must be ready for the tip.

DD, that's a bit harsh you don't even know how old this fridge is - if it's only something as simple as a broken hinge and everything else is working why would you want to throw it away. Not everyone can afford to run out and replace something as their first option, maybe that could end up being the final outcome but why not see if it can be fixed first.

Hi, allways had problems with my fridge door when we first bought the van, the previous owner never let on there was a problem and l didnt check....anyway it was an easy fix as the top hinge was partially broken
The steel male part attached the the fridge was fine , it was the plastic female recieving part attached to the door was broken
l was going to buy a new part but it was hard to find the part on sites , so l did some research and found a 2 part epoxy type stuff that sounded great ( set hard hard could be ground/sanded etc ) and Buninnings actually had the stuff there......l'm at work and can't remember the brand , but can let you know if need be............any all l had to do was take the male part off the fridge to use for hole size and mix the 2 parts of this stuff into paste , then slap the paste into the broken area , get it clean and level, then insert the male shaft ( with silicon sprayed on it ) and make the desired hole shape, then gently pull out....it did sag a little bit , but l justused a nailto push it back .
When it dried and set , the next day l just ran a drill in to get it nice and even............worked great :)
