hello everyone, we want to rub something on the rubbers around windows to keep them supple. Also the rubber ring in the toilet. Anyone know a good product to use. Thanks.

Maybe a quick call to Clark Rubber might be the best answer Des

The rubber ring in toilet, using olive oil. Cheap brand will do.
The rubber around windows, I wonder where you can get replacement rubber from as the reno caravan I'm working on needs it all replaced

Silicone grease or silicone spray as well as your amourall type products will do the job, I personally use the silicone based products.

I have been using WD40 on mine for the last two decades.
But then I use WD40 for lots of things .. eg.
The rubber door surrounds/seals on my old Patrol sometimes rattle .. yes rattle. I spent ages looking for the pesky noise ... even pulled off the door linings. A smear of WD40 fixes the problem. Serious.
I have lots of sand scratches on the Patrol bonnet from loading my kayaks over the bull bars. A rub of WD40 after washing it fixes it for a while. I do the same for any duco scratches after giving up on those expensive scratch & swirl removers. Only a temporary fix though.

I've recently looked into, and done a fair bit of 'GoogleResearch' on this myself and decided that the WD-40 Silicone Lubricant Spray from Bunnings was just the ticket (pic attached)
I've used on the rubber around the windows, around the seal where the top of my poptop van meets the bottom and also on squeaky metal runners/bolts.
Edit: I started looking because I had a sticky window too. Problem fixed perfectly :)
