Having found myself the owner of a Hino AC140 bus following a rush of blood to the head, I now require a workshop manual. Does anyone know of a reliable online resource for them?
I also need to find the fuse box (would you believe that it is in a cunningly hidden spot) and the indicator flasher can as they are not yet functioning.
All advice, rational or otherwise, will be welcome.

Cupie,
I googled a great deal and found a number of unreliable looking possibilities. That said though, you may well have nailed it :). I'll have a look and we'll see. The Hino site itself was something of a disappointment it must be said but they must maintain a commercial focus I guess.
Thank you for your help too. Very encouraging.
Cheers

Hmmm. Not too sure about that site Cupie. All too quick to get my credit card details for my, paranoid, liking. Has anyone used that site before?

Allan.
What model "bus body" over chassis.
they'll probably have manuals or copy's of to cover them
My Bank manager told me. When credit cards first came out. (Was a shooting club mate) What you do Mack, is make up a "Debit Card". Linked to a new acc't with no affiliation to any of your other acct's. Open with $20 (then. Now??) then just load with required sums to suit purchases done through it.
I don't have credit Rating or cards. So they can't get me there anyway, you don't borrow, you don't have to pay back. Mum told me that when a kid.

You could always ask if they accept PayPal
If the item never turned up, then PayPal will refund you

Hi Macka and Tony,
I'll be doing a bit more checking over the bus this weekend to find model numbers amongst other things (kindly parked up at a friends place until I sort the indicators out).
A lot of these online manual sites appear very unreliable and I would only risk a card with a very limited amount on it for that reason as you have pointed out.
I might get around to calling Hino tomorrow if I get a chance.
Cheers,

Hi Cupie, I have done the same for a few things (back hoe and tractor etc.) and may have paid something, or not, a few years ago. I'll get one somewhere as these buses were legion in there prime. Mine is in reasonable nick but will need a little sorting before I bring it down the freeway to home. I may have to get creative and use my brain. Now there's a worry ;)
