hi everyone, just joined the forum, although we have been caravanning (is that a word?) for many years, jus been made redundant so a good excuse to hitch up and head off from Perth , first stop Victoria to visit the grand kids in Melbourne, see what happens from there still too young to retire so I guess I will need to start looking for some work at some point.
We have done a couple of longer trips 6 months in 2009 with a Jayco Westport and most recently 6 months in 2015 with a Jayco Sterling and Nissan Navara.
we are in the final stages of packing up and getting the rig sorted out. aim to head off end of April. hope to see you on the road
Welcome to the gang Mashwa, enjoy here and out in the playground.
"W..k" Gee, my heart has picked up a few beats trying to say that word but just cpouldn't bring myself to say it in the end sorry.
Travel safe from the 'wild west' as you head for us Mexicans. Well in my case I am an old Indian Chief.

And it's welcome from us two 2 mashwa enjoy your travels over this side just take your time to cross over here as being a sandgroper you wouldn't be used to getting up before 10 am so give your self time to adjust, oh and we all must be sure not to mention that four letter word starting with w and ending in k as poor old chief one feather ( he used to have more feathers ) has bigger heart palpitations when he hears or reads that word than when " the twins " call in to see him,

G'day Mashwa, and welcome to the forum. Plenty of great advice and folks on here. Don't forget to try out the two games - Who is This in the I digress section and Pick ThisPlace in the general section. 'Pick this place' is a great way to find new places to explore.

Also a warm welcome from me Mashwa, it is never too early to start travelling
Hope that you get everything sorted, and that you find a bit of employment, to keep you ticking over
