I have to agree 100% ~ they are awful hulks and unfortunately with the demise of the Aussie car industry, these "things" will be imported in ever greater numbers
I see them hogging the traffic lanes - and they are almost as wide as a suburban bus, they don't fit into designated shopping centre parking spaces, they are huge when compared with our everyday vehicles, and as most appear to 8 or 10 Litre V8 motors, I hate to think of the fuel wastage just to get it from 'A' to 'B'

The USA shopping centre car parks were full of the monsters when we visited a couple of years ago. Lots complete with the rebel flag. Good 'ole boys?/ Rednecks.

Do you mean something like this beast. I spotted this in a Townsville car yard last year.
Travelling down to Brisbane a couple of days ago I saw this "Thing" coming up on me just before the Gateway exit.
It looked like nothing I have seen before except those twin wheel Dodge Rams.
It had FORD SPECIAL SUV stamped into the tailgate. Same twin wheels on the back, feet wider than the front,
I can't find a pic online yet.
Must be the Ugliest American SUV I have ever seen.
Maybe others may like them not me. I'll edit and post a photo if I can find one
Maybe an 2017 F 650
Cheers John
