I have arranged the tank selector to be in the cupboard where all the filling and air hoses sit. Also included a flow meter to count the liters used. It looks a bit of a mess but need to be sure the proof of concept works.
Fortunately I finished the under van stuff after lunch just before the 20 mm of rain bucketed down!!
Heading to Warracknabeal Thursday for a Nephews wedding on Friday. Then taking a week to come home to regenerate Eril's and my batteries. Should we use a 3 or 7 stage charger.
Like the flow meter inline, great idea to keep an eye on usage and what really is remaining in the tank.
Cheers
Vince

I would not be relying on a flow meter to extract every last drop of water Paul
I recently had the pump spitting a bit of air, when I was supposed to be about a quarter full I assume it was the angle of the tank, so now I make sure that I do not go below a quarter of a tank
You ask what battery charger to use, not knowing what you have, set out below is my own system, which works for me, (using their spelling)
I have 2 X 120 AH AGM house batteries
I use a 5 stage CTEK D250S Dual DC to DC charger, where I use the engine alternator, and solar panel to charge the house batteries The five stages are - Desulfatation - Bulk - Absorption - Float - Pulse
I carry a PROJECTA 240 volt, 15 amp battery charger, 7 stage switch mode, just in case The seven stages are - Desulphation - Soft Start - Bulk - Absorption - Analysis - Recondition - Float
This battery charger give me the option of setting it to charge the following batteries GEL - AGM - WET - CALCIUM - Or to use it as a 12 volt power supply It also gives me the option of selecting the output current to be 2 - 4 - 8 - or 15 amp
Hope that this info is useful to you
