Being of a more interesting age I have been having difficulty lifting my spare wheel. The carrier seems to be much further from the ground,and the wheel has increased in weight or so it seems. How heavy is it? To my surprise my spare weighs 46 Kg, or two and a bit jerry cans full. I can, but prefer not to, lift two cans of fuel, the spare wheel is far more awkward. A solution has been found! The YouTube video, 90 YO lifts 4x4 wheel, shows that we have the technology to stop the increasing weight of spare wheels
