Hi K.J.
I love counting . I added the piles up = 103 or so, in total. @ say $10,000 per pile = $1,030,000.00
Where did you say they were storing it.

Hey Jim, They didn't say where they were hiding all that loot.
Probably heard, that there is a Bloke from the East heading this way with a dirty great empty boat in tow , LOL
AS the State Elections are coming up very soon and there is such a big black hole in the States finances, guess where the money is now ????

Ever seen more than A Million Bucks in Cash ?............
YES But, couldn't touch it or do anything with it. I've seen a pallet loads of $50 notes, which makes the haul shown here look like pocket change in comparison.
Back in the mid 70's my father was the head of Cash Control with the Reserve Bank in Perth and I was given a guided tour with a few class mates of the banks sub level vaults.

Hi K.J.
That reminds me of a bloke over here in our part of the woods long ago, who got pulled over for a traffic matter in his Padjaro. in the back he had cardboard boxes. Inside them, they found $3,500,000 in cash. He was Korean from memory.

My missus worked at the Reserve Bank Note Printing Branch. She used to count & look for faults in millions of dollars worth of notes every day. She also used to drill holes through bundles of old damaged notes.

When we lived in Mozambique prior to 2006 I got paid in US$ when I went to a Cambio and exchanged it I got $2.4M Metacais per USD$100 which was usually paid in M$50,000 notes. First time I have ever had millions in my wallet - although it felt great it wasn't really worth that much. What I learnt was that it doesn't matter what the number on the paper says is or how big a pile it makes it's what you can get for it that really counts. If your only looking at a pile of banknotes on a table which you aren't able to spend it doesn't mean anything it's just like reading the numbers in someone else's bankbook.......

I used to sometimes witness the burning of those holy bundles, in the govt ovens. Almost bought tears to your eyes, and it wasn't from the smoke.

So we're worth about twice that, very reassuring. Nice to see it in the flesh.

I don't think anybody here really cares.
