Unbelievable how an innocent post on a great concert I went to last night ended up getting out of control causing it to get closed.
Come on folks, we are/can do better than that.
By the way, I have been to 4 of her concerts, spanning over 40 years, and have never her seen her do what DD referred to.
Cheers, John.

Not surprised it was closed, some of the posts were decidedly off colour.

Suzi is obviously enjoying a throbbing bass guitar between her thighs. Told you party poopers so! Jimi Hendrix played his guitar with his tongue, Suzies major move was as shown. If she didn't do it the crowd were totally disappointed.
We can't understand why the original post was closed. Narrow minded people getting upset obviously.

John, I don't need to google. I didn't dispute anything. I just mentioned I had never seen it at any of 4 concerts, but thanks for the info.
DD, Bass guitars don't throb. Hmm, I'm not the party pooper, I was there last night.
I'm out of this thread now, I'll let others continue to degrade it.
Cheers, John.

.... and we all think the being politically correct is the purview of pollies ... it is alive and well and actively practiced by those who choose to misrepresent the intent of a comment or the passing of information.
It's OK John (is there an echo in here???) I too have suffered the taunts and misinterpretation of posts.
Apart from developing a severe twitch from time to time ... I have come through the experience unscathed.
cheers - John

Come on, grow up, to all those who smoked dope, tripped on LSD while listening to Hendrix, went to Vietnam, listened to Jimmy Barnes and getting into fights while inebriated, having illusions about being Elvis while doing his pelvis moves, you have lost the plot. Simply, it is an electric guitar, there is no throbbing, there is no bass vibrations, the move is very common among bass players, particularly with the music Suzi plays and that genre. The sound and the vibration actually come from the speakers! I still love the bass rumble at alive concert! But, then I am biased, I grew up with the music and read the original thread. I need to say, it could have been a great thread for talking about Suzi Q's career and her return to rock and roll after her country career. That's all, and I still hold Suzi, Blondie, Sandy Shaw and many others who could have been accused of the same thing!

Yep, did most of the things above and more but then I grew up!!
How did we get twitchy and get to birdwatching? LSD maybe! An aside and not a hijack of the post. My adventure of the day was a ruckus from the back yard. Head stuck out the back door, Brown Goshawk in the back yard trying to pull Indian, sorry, not allowed to call them that anymore, racist, Common Mynas out of the trap I catch them in to try and eradicate the cane toad of the air. I had, estimated, 50 mynas squawking in the yard for two trapped birds. The bravest birds were the resident Pee Wees, they just were hell bent on getting rid of the majestic bird of prey. I have never been so impressed by the closeness to a such a beautiful bird, the photos and story will go to the local paper to try to get more people to eliminate a pest species!
Suzi Q Rocks, Pinky Tuscadero, Happy Days. Favourite song, has to be Devil Gate Drive at full volume while driving!

Adreamer I've never smoked dope, never had an interest in it, and don't drink alcohol either, and I still grew up, and I still love Suzie.
