I hope this is the correct place to introduce myself, I am finding it difficult to locate an alternative place to post. Hi my name is Bill and my wife is Kay we have just purchased a 19' 6" Essential twin wheel caravan and have done one very nervous trip to the country so we are seeking general advise on caravan movers
If anyone has information they would like to share we would be most appreciative
Regards Bill & Kay

G'day Bill and Kay and welcome to the forum. Plenty of great advice and folks on here. Don't forget to try out the two games - Who is This in the I digress sectionand Pick ThisPlace in the general section. 'Pick this place' is a great way to find new places to explore.
On the matter of Caravan movers, we had a powered jockey wheel which was fine on flat and tarmacked surfaces but really struggled on even a road camber. Admittedly our van was on the upper limit for the wheel. We are currently looking at the type that is permanently attached near the wheels. A lot depends on the type of surface and slopes that you anticipate needing to use it on. Much better to get one over rated for your van weight than only just in - as we found too our cost.

Gday Bill and Kay welcome to the forum there are a great bunch of people here who will offer help and advice.
Regarding an electronic van mover I use an Aussie Wheel model AW2 to move my 21 foot Jayco and it does it with ease, I have tyres designed for grass and gravel and have not experianced any difficulty.
Hoping you enjoy caravanning life out in the big playground.
