Something that has always baffled me is the number of people who use 'ect' instead of the correct 'etc'. So let's see, how do you spell the word (s): 'et cetera'. Notice the first three letters? Literal meaning: et (and) cetera (the others). The only other abreviation was/is &c, but this is a little old fashioned and no longer in use. Incidentally, 'ect' is the abbreviation for 'electroconvulsive therapy'. Hmmm? I won't bother with I seen; or, I done. Now it's your turn???

I'm probably guilty of that and many other typographical errors, but when I'm picked up on it, I just reply with.... "I'm a graphic artist..... not a typist!"
I love spell & grammar checkers but they don't exist on most forum text editors and I'm too lazy to check it in Word then copy/paste it back here.

It is also poor form to Copy & Paste from another caravan forum without acknowledging to original writer.

This has been lifted directly from either Whirlpool or Caravaners Forum, not cool.

Apologies Neil - I work from the last post up and hit Santas first so it was a kneejerk reaction.
So, well spotted Neil.

I suggest the poster is one and the same on both forums.

Using different names as well as different nicknames, I doubt that somehow.

I gather you people use the same user name on every forum - I don't. As for accusing someone of lifting a post from another forum, well, that's just poor form! But, just to please the two twits Santa and Delta, I acknowledge 'me' as being the original poster.
You missed a couple of other forums BTW. Incidentally, I can't be bothered checking, but I think you'll find the user name on whirlpool and this forum are the same. If not I'm sure one of you twits will advise.

A quick check shows this to be correct.

Something else that baffles me: the sheer stupidity shown by a trio of absolutes! Perhaps you three absolutes should spend a little more time on the homework before sitting the test.

Once again, a post with a bit of curious interest turned into a battle of egos with negative consequences.
OK Toglhot, I'll admit I read your post and quite frankly didn't care who originally wrote it. Thank you.
To the others who are only interested in finding fault, well you missed out on something I enjoyed.
And by the way, we can't always be original. How much material in "Just Joking" hasn't been told before? And does it matter? A lady once asked me (at an intimate time) if I was inventive. I told her no, anything I do has probably been done before!
So lets store the criticism and negative remarks and agree that the forum is only a way for us to keep in touch until we can meet on the road.

For what it's worth cross posting is frowned upon in social media, and that's exactly what the OP is, cross posted to three three separate forums.
My last word on the subject.

For what it's worth, Who wrote the rules about social media, and who gave them the right? Where are the rules printed and who has agreed that they should be followed?
If anyone wants to limit me to only posting my experiences in one place, then that person will receive a response which I'm sure you will understand, and probably even agree with.
I can just hear it now ... "You told that joke last year in a different caravan park so you can't tell it again."
