Suzuki is what most people use and the only one that can be legally towed on A frame. Lots of people tow many other vehicles.

Hi Simon and Mell,
Contact Northcoach RV in Brisbane, 07 32096654 or northcoach.com.au. They are the agents Australia wide for Ready Brute and Blue Ox A Frames. They will be able to put you in touch with a Dealer in WA.
Cheers,
David.

Depends on how much and how serious your 4WD-ing will be. I tow a Daihatsu Terios with an A-frame - it has part-time 4WD which came in handy last month when the bus was bogged in the free camp at Blackall in Qld. Its tare is only 1,200 kgs so easy to tow. If you're looking for a 4WD with auto transmission, ensure it has a transfer box which can be placed in neutral when towing to isolate the wheels from the gearbox.
