I used to do 1200ft . Two X 600' regularly , at the Naval Transmitting Station at Belconnen ACT.
used to be fun , except in winter , I would go through 6 pair of leather gloves , 4 up , 2 down.
My hands would start to freeze . Was nice once you got over the fog. They are not there now.
Only the single one at RAAF Gunghalin.
