Hello all. Been a caravan owner for approx. ten years (3 vans) and now looking for a van with lounge seating in the 20' - 22' range that includes double bed and separate shower and toilet. We find café seating uncomfortable. Dinette with fixed table is too restrictive.
Any advice/suggestions with regard to brands would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the gang Ken and Sandra, enjoy here and out in the playground.
I opted for cafe' seating after being talked out of recliners by the dealer but regret that now. Too expensive to change now. Don't let a dealer talk you out of what you want.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

G'day Ken and Sandra, and welcome to the forum. Great advice and folks on here. Like Doug says - know what you want and stick to it - the dealers want to sell whats on the lot :)

Welcome Ken & Sandra, we went straight for recliner chairs in our van. A point to remember if you want to go the recliner way, is that you need at least 1.8m to recline the chairs fully, and more if you want to move about them. Is this what you are after?
And it's welcome from us two 2 Ken n Sandra yes recliners were a must have on our list too
You'll be so glad you did
Wait where have I heard that line before ?

Hi Ken and Sandra, must admit to not being a fan of the cafe seating I had in the old van and was happy with the campervan I bought as it has the captains chair.

Sincere thanks to everyone who replied (my fault) I haven't expressed myself properly.
We have a Bailey Pamplona which has lounge seating across the front. I think the terminology is club lounge(?)
So, if anyone is still willing to reply to us, we are all ears (again)!!

I think you will be better off starting afresh in the Terchies Corner forum
