Ge'day, myself ( Mick ) and partner (Susanna) are" travellers" and I love reading of adventures and travelling around this lovely country of ours. Currently in South Australia, moving to Victoria soon. We are van less as sold the Jayco single axle a few months ago and renting our way to poverty. I'm unemployed bloke looking for work, with Sassy working part time at the moment. I have lived/worked in every state of Australia for at least a year. Did draw the line at ACT though as heard it was full of wind all the time. lol.
We are going to Victoria to re re group, work, and suss another method of travelling, like a good off road trailer or tent or don"t know yet. Just the Jayco we had up to the Daintree from country Victoria was a pain. Did not bond with it at all, my first and maybe last van.Purchased in 2012 she was a Jayco 2006 "Destiny"with all the jazz except toilet/shower. Took incorrect turn from the "one time navigator" and completed 360 kms of rough dirt road which jarred teeth..
Need to trial Off road van or maybe just tent. Have Mazda BT50 auto single cab as tow vehicle bought new, on second gearbox at 44,000Kms. Hmm.. That's us.Keep your eyes on the road, and hands on the wheel..
