Business operators and shoppers who might still be expecting parcels from Christmas and Boxing Day sales are being targeted by an email scam disguised as an Australia Post parcel pickup notification
"the malicious emails have been hitting thousands of inboxes since Tuesday morning. The email includes AusPost logos and a link to what appears to be the official website.
However, the linked website is a perfect replica of the real Australia Post site, including accurate graphics and even a Captcha input form to convince users it is legitimate."
Some will try anything to get into your computer - idiots. I have an Austraia Post account, that I have had for years (since I worked for them) - and if I am expecting anything, I check my account, they don't send emails.

I too have an Australia post account and every time I get a letter in my linked MYGOV account I then get a email from noreply@austpost.com.au saying "you have received a new letter from MyGov.? - maybe yours is a different account.
Just check my SPAM folder - 173 new spam emails so far this month...say they are from banks, woolies coles etc.
Regards

Interestingly my spam level has dropped dramatically of late, used to get up to half a dozen a day, now down to only a couple a day, cant say I'm sorry.

I'd like to test how sharp my carving knife is on the wankers that send those spam emails with viruses attached, just to make a point.... so to speak.
Quick heads up on this one.
