picking up my van end of feb ill be towing it with toyota prado with a towing cap of 2500 kilos, was thinking of getting a
Honda 2kw generator for the times that we will not have power. we will not be doing any lengthy
off the grid parking (Elly still likes some creature comforts). at the moment we get a new Honda
for 1699.00
if we go solar, how many panels and batteris would we need ? I would have to install a inverter
would the extra weight even out weigh and benefit that solar may give you.
I'm thinking generator the extra money I would save could go to Al-ko E.S.C.
I guess I know the answer but you guys are out there doing it and I'm just starting.
cheers and thanks for any advise you may be able to share

What you wish to power will determine how many batteries & panels would be required.
