Hi Makka
Nice looking unit and should provide some good travel. Just one question. That long extension lead you have plugged in is it 15 amp both ends, 15 amp at the van and a 10 to 15 amp adapter, or a 15 amp at the van and a 10 amp at the house. Just wondering hey. Have a good one.

Gotya Moorey.
Remember those fancy. expensive 10\15a converters they were talking about on here recently.
Well.
One of 'em came wif van too.
Avuvver Plus. Plus hey.
Seriously.
I've had a few vans. New. 3 and several second hand.
I'd only buy s\h nowadays. Specially on todays market.
The best of the modern style. design and quality
were made in the late 80's, early 2000's.
Prior to getting a little long in tooth.
Now. there are a lot of them for sale. with quite a few lightly used.
Kept in garages. and well looked after.
I went through motions a while back. Hrs on net etc. (Days actually)
there are a lot of them in Brissie area. but mainly well used.
NSW seems to be the expensive capital for what you want of anything.
WA has a coupla custom and COROMAL.
As I said. C-ckroaches. BUT cheap reliable and not bad designed.
Vict. the furthest away on East coast.
has a lot of MFG's. Basically the caravan builders capital of Aust.
4 or 5 GOOD designs (from that era, not the new ones)
I don't know them.
Evernew are known. Out the factory door only. ALL made to measure.
STD warranty that says "on any Aust, roads."
Probably the pick of cheaper vans in S\H range
there were a truckload of 16\16ft6ins there when I was looking.
ALL great value.
ALL bloody good vans. Lightly used.
One. '98 model.Really as new. used once a yr for 5 weeks on family visit 400km's away.
$12k. Kept in garage.
I took too long getting there. It gone. Bummer.
But after checking out the insides. 16-6 "inside" was a leetle small.
This 535 ) just under 18ft. singles. Ideal.
Used. Lots of red dust in corners. but everything works. and tows sweet.
And like said. If I don't use much,
not too much dinero sitting there, all lonely like.
VERY happy with this one.
As I was with Prev Roadstar 19 ft 4 in inside.
They would be perfect size to cruise anywhere in (offroader)
BUT not if on pension.
Big van. Big tug. bigger bills. Believe me.
There seriously are. a lot of good vans down in Vict.
Well worth the drive.
This one was from local paper at son's place.
We went for a Evernew.
But when Ins agent says "Market value?. $19.800.
You know you on the right track.
New van.
Short haul and fishing only.
Nice and light, Under 2 ton loaded.
and cheap.
We'll Just find areas we like and leave there for a while.
then move to fresh area when wanting a change of fishing grounds.
$12 grand. not too much standing doing nothing when not using.
Unlike the $70k plus van that stood beside pool for around 6 yrs
and never moved.
New air cond and tyes when bought ,
drove up from Melb. a lot cheaper for vans down there.
Resealed all seams Heat reflective paint over roof area.
In middle of laying cork tiles then sealing,
over the '99 used lino floor. Looks quite nice so far.
D-Max didn't know it was on back hardly.
Used very little more juice coming back to CQ than we did going down without it.
SUrprisingly so.
A nice bonus.
Full height modern streamlined vans are much less wind resistant
than square fronted Pop Tops. (I've had both)
It's only the physical size and weight that makes any real difference
between the two.
My last pop top was 1 foot shorter. 360ish kg's lighter.
and used more juice towing.
This way I can take big boat to spots., rather than choosing.
van and fish off banks or boat and stay in motels.
best of both. hey.
and it's as nice inside as it looks on outside too.
Another bonus.
Cheers
Vince
