Forget all that ....if ya wanna have a smoke ....then try a Patrol with standard everything with a RD28 donk trying to get going up a slight incline off boost. All of a sudden there are no tailgaters hey.
Now mine has had a few simple mods to ease this....but it will puff a bit out when taking off from slightly uphill intersections with the van on....but you get that on bigjobs hey.
I still reckon the old style technology will outlast all the new wizzbang high pressure stuff over the 30 year life I have become used to with all my past and present vehicles.
