Just put a big pic of a lemon sticker on the back of the van instead. I have seen them on evilbay.
'Hey Jim' is the right size.

G'day Jim. Certainty can in the NT. Vehicle is MECAR and van is MEVAN. Not very original but we like it and the looks we get when asked for rego is worth it.
Cheers.

In WA I believe you can get 12 letters on your rego plate. Not sure about vans.

Re P.N.P for vans,
Do not know , but assume that one could have same.
It is good when you see the owners / grey nomads names on the vans.
Although we have not elected to do so to date.

Can do in Queensland.
A few years ago before we decided to caravan we had two cars, mine and hers, both with personalised plates. When she retired we sold her car and bought a van - we were able to transfer the personal plates from her car to the new van, but the catch was, as the plates were in her name, we had to state the van ownership was at least 51% hers, 49% mine (we made it a 60/40 split just to be sure). The second thing, Queensland has two levels of trailer registration - if it is UNDER 1020kg, you get a 2 letter 4 number combo, and CANNOT use personal plates - if it is OVER 1024 and upwards, you can use normal car plates, which means you can transfer any personal plate that has been formerly attached to a car.

A friend in WA has 'I Follow' on his camp trailer and 'I Float' on his boat trailer.
I thought to get 'I Float 2' on my boat trailer.

If you only wanted a plate to put on the back of your caravan to display your GN alias or to make a point why don't you just get a novelty plate made from somewhere like unreal plates.com. Obviously you can't use them to replace your proper number plate but why give the government any more money than they are already ripping off you for registration. (especially in NSW).

Delta18 - Is there something cryptic in your message or are you on the wrong site ?
Not at all. Click the link you put in your original post & you'll see what I was referring to.
Your current link goes to a more appropriate place.

Yeah Neil I see what you mean - my original message wasn't actually supposed to be a link ( the auto correct entered it like that) I had done a search earlier on google for imitation number plates to see if someone made them - I was only using that as an example of one of the many that I found . When you made the comment about dinner plates I was scratching my head so I went back in and copied the proper link over.
