Hi, has anyone removed the bedside spotlights that are on the later Jayco vans. I want to move the wiring inside the cupboard but cant see how the lights are fitted to the side of the cupboard. They are actually a dometic surface mount spot light and assume they are in many different brand vans. I have checked the dometic website and I can find the light but no instructions. I cant see any screws or allen screws, so assume its a push on type cover with the light mounts under the cover. Any help appreciated.
thanks Steve

Steve, you will more than likely find there is a gap between the outside base and inside bottom of the O/head cupboard, the wireing will come through the wall and into that gap then to the light fitting that could just clip into the ply.

Hi Steve,
Try the base of the lamp. They could be threaded and twist off. Or a Nylon pressure clip like the plugs they use like a rubber/ nylon grommet to fill cabinet holes. If there is nothing on the back, then it will be one of the two.

If it's a common type light fitting then it is likely that van spares places would carry them.
I'd ring first to check if in stock .. then a visit to have a look at one and perhaps a few questions to the staff will give the answer.
My (old ones) have a press on decorative base cover with the mounting screws & terminals under the cover.
