Hi all. Setting off on Monday morning to Barrosa and Parachilna Gorge. Staying at Greenock Oval. Any comments on there and the free camp at Parachilna ? Col P
Another good web site, but the report of Worlds end that was displayed was not very flattering.
Had I been the person who wrote the report, I would have packed up & left.
Sounds like the free camp from hell.

Worlds end can become very busy during holiday periods, I've a feeling locals use it as a party venue, at other times you may well have the whole area to yourself, pick your times.
It really is a nice spot when not overcrowded.

Sounds like a good spot during the weekend. I guess we loose track of time when out in the playground.........another thing to be mindful of.......
Thank goodness for ipads to store all this info

World's End creek SA, also known as Burra Gorge, is a great place to camp. Must say though, that I have only been there in quiet periods. Similar in some respects to Aysons reserve, near Greens Lake Vic, except Aysons has a bigger river with proper toilet block and Worlds End has drop toilets. Will go back to both sites again.
Cheers, John.

Burra Gorge is a great place to stay,it now has 3 drop toilets and plenty of rubbish bins. The person who wrote the negative report must have been there on a bad weekend.

Fantastic description of Parachilna.
Brings back memories. We have been thru there a couple of times & lunched at one of the great campsites.
Thanks guys.
