My brother inlaw suggested that when we pick up our new van next week we use our iPad to video the handover instructions as it is a lot easier than trying to take notes while someone is talking. He has been a van owner for many years and did this a few months ago when he and his wife picked up their new van. He said it has come in very handy as a reference tool especially during the shake down trip as it's difficult to try and remember every thing that you are shown during the handover.

We will be doing this when we pick up our new van tomorrow.
Will be handy to actually remember what we are shown in the handover

Good luck with your handover hope it goes well, it will probably also be bit harder trying to remember everything due to the excitement of the occasion. We had been waiting 6 months since we originally signed on the dotted line, finally got the call last week that the van would be leaving the Melbourne factory on the Friday. We still won't take delivery of it from the dealer until next week as they are making the annexe walls and doing some other pre delivery stuff. Happy travels.

We are due to pick up our Retreat Brampton in March.
Nerves and excited all at the same time.
We just worked out we payed more for the van then we did for our first house .
You would think the manufacturer or distributor would make a hand over video and provide it for you to drive away with.
We will be videoing our hand over now.
Lets us know who you go with the pick up
Thank you.
