G'day wombat56
The point you are referring to is most likely for connecting an antenna feed from a caravan park central antenna system into your TV.

Are you referring to the antenna "feed in" point/connector on the side of the van? I am yet to see a "feed out" connector on the side of a van.

The older vans without the built in antennas on top were equipped with an external input on the RHS side wall. This was connected the same sort of connector near a power point mounted in a place that was suitable to stand a small TV set. Ite input connector on the ouside was the same type of connector as you have inside you house for your external antenna.

In the rare occasions that I want to watch TV outside the van I just run an extension TV lead out via the corner of a suitable fly screen. Just lift the corner of the screen out of its track.
If I need to run a TV input from the CPs TV feed I do the same thing thru a window near the TV.
Have thought of putting in a couple of those Eye ball thru the wayy fittings but never get round to it.
