Hi Bruce
I emailed you direct. However for other peoples information, there are Toyota(and other makes) parts finders which use the VIN number to give the model specific part numbers for imports(and everthing). Then you can Google that part number and see where it may be offered and ordered. Perhaps even the local Toyota dealer, even though they pretend they know nothing about import parts and they are different etc BS etc BS. They can usually be ordered direct from a supplier in Asia as these busses are everywhere !

Hi Bruce
It's never a good idea to put your email address in a post as it will be harvested and you will start to receive lots of spam.
Best to ask for replies via PM's thru you profile which will show up if you name is clicked on.
Cheers
David

Good advice.
I establish a sacrificial address for things like this & can just abandon it if it attracts junk.

Hello brucell
May I be one of the first to welcome you to the forum
It looks like Jahhn has given you some good info
In regards to your email address, as Roving-Dutchy has already said, the spammers will start sending you info on stuff, you never realised that you needed
The easiest way to remove anything on your post, is to log in again, click Edit on your post, and just delete whatever words you wish, unless it is a throwaway email address, and you are happy to leave it there
I hope that you are able to get the airbag you require

The problem is to find someone who isn't going to take advantage of your situation. Try the Asian eBay ? Alibaba ?

There is an ad in the latest Wanderer for a mob supplying parts for Japanese Grey imports. It's called Jap Express, website www.jap-express.com and they specialise in coasters and the like and have online parts catalogues.
No affiliatione etc just saw the ad.

Get the name of airbag in car.
Go on net.
send them an email with vIN no of veh.
They'll send or tell where to get one.
I got a latter from Honda last week.
Have to take Do's '08 Civic to dealers tomorrow. to replace front Airbags.
Apparently some actuators are/cam be faulty.
'08 to now.
That's not bad service really.
They recalled for replacement front Brakes too, yrs ago.
Some faulty pistons.
I still reckon it's worth it. Paying a bit extra for vehicles known to be better quality,
reliability, than most others on market.
I'd love another Audi. But couldn't trust it to get me home every time.
Di wants that Lambo V10. Dream on girl.....
