We are new to this forum but just wait to experience some of the adventures we have read about. unfortunately at this point it is only me (Martin) who is reaching the age of retirement but until my minister of war and fiance reaches that point we will be only doing short trips however I will be more on the road than not. We live in the country and interested in fossicking and prospecting (me mainly) collecting rocks, gems and other assorted treasures (her mainly) and look forward to meeting like minded people on the road to help grow our knowledge in that area. Happy to help anyone travelling north if they get stuck etc. You can email us if you need any more information.
Cheers and I have one month before i tick over the retirement age and six weeks before we pick up our new camper.

Welcome to the gang Martin and Denise, enjoy here and out in the playground.
That 'one month' will go very quickly and I tell you that for free. The feeling of walking out the door at work for the last time is worth bottling.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

A very warm welcome MARTIN and Denise to the great forum, a great double Retiring and picking up a new van are great experiances. I have now been retired for 9 years and still remember the day I finished full time employment, I did get bored and did a bit of part time work in between trips away in the Van but within 2 years was fully retired.
A small piece of advice when away in the van and in retired life the journey is much more important than the destination and if you take your time the roses smell even better.
Enjoy your time here on the forum and out in the big playground
