Has anybody had the experience of staying on a farm with their self contained caravan in south east Queensland? If so where and your impressions would be welcome.

There is also a site called "Caravanovernightfarmstay". Costs about $11 to join for life, then you can use the site - easy to use. We stayed on a farm at Bunbury, WA, last year for about two weeks - $5 day. Great spot, good hosts. (No facilities). Others we know stayed at a place from the site nearer to Fremantle - maybe Wassal(?) - good spot they said.

Just checked the site you suggested Jules47, it's now $11 per year. Good suggestion

OH Wow !!! Finally caught Jules out in a mistake LOL
The site she mentioned is $11 per year (not for life) - still really cheap though.
And Jules - so disappointed you made a mistake as you are a real font of great info here - heheh - hope youre both doing well BTW :)

Yrs ago (50 odd)
we lived in caravans on Construction sites and pipelines.
Mostly we parked in local farms and payed farmer whatever.
Normally got a power lead and access to dunny. water.
Just go round local farms and knock on door.
they can only tell you to pee off.
