Is it not possible to remove the grille vent at the back of the fridge from the outside of the van to access wiring?
Cheers Allen.

Welcome to the gang Shac, enjoy here and out in the playground.
I would say check the outside vents as well. I did some wiring myself and run the wire so I could access via the bottom fridge vent. Worked well too.
Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

Go to you tube and search first on your brand of fridge then removal of fridge in general.
Welcome and enjoy the forum

HI Shac, good luck with the cables. Rewiring in a van can be a tricky business at times.
Cheers, John.

To get to the wiring the fridge must come out. Big job, are you sure its a job that needs to be done, untidy yes, works yes. Only fix something if its broken. Could try getting down from the roof vent, but I doubt it.

Hello Shac
I hope that I am not too late to say welcome to the forum
It depends on the type of fridge you have If it is a three way 12 volt, gas, 240 volt fridge, the Gas Fitters will tell you to have an authorised person disconnect the gas line, for reasons of safety
If you look up the net for a manual for your model fridge, it will show you where the mounting screws are situated
As others have said, perhaps you can do the work from the rear lower vent behind the fridge, or bypass the fridge by placing the wires under the floor
Greetings to all.
