Dear experienced Nomads, can you help budding Nomads out of a sticky situation?
As part of our brief RV trip we (2 adults, 2 children) are travelling from Bega to Sydney from 26th - 30th December. Since we are roaming up the coast it has been next to impossible to find camping spots for 1-2 nights since all the campsites I can look up (from Switzerland) insist on a minimum stay of 3+ nights. This means I have only managed to find a powered spot in the Burrill Lake area for the 27th. I guess that unless a miracle happens we will have to overnight "on the road" on the 26th, 28th and 29th.
That in itself isn't a problem but my question is about what the rules and regulations for overnighting outside of campsites in that part of NSW?
Thanks in advance for your advice and suggestions

Hi Fabian 23 - there is an app called Wikicamps - that lists very low cost or free camps all over Australia - you can go on free for a limited time, but it is only about A$8.00 for once only installation - might get some help from there.
Hope you enjoy your time in this beautiful country.

Stopping overnight in parks or off road isn't strictly camping . Unless you put a tent, anex up etc . Just don't get in the way at boat ramps etc .. You'll be fine .
