hello everyone, we need more solar panels but do not want to put any more holes in the caravan roof. Does anyone have portable solar and a battery in van. Also, what does everything think of the cheapest 120 watt one that folds up.

I just used Sikaflex FC11. Stuck my 200 amp solar panel on the roof and it will not move. No holes required.

Yes sorry the rocket but we don't have holes in our motorhome roof either. Ours is glued and mounted on stands. Would have a huge argument if they wanted to drill holes. The only hole needed is for the cable to come through Dave

Sikaflex 221 is the new adhesive from Sika to use for solar panels...aluminium supports to fibreglass roof...and that is the word from the Sika Rep at the Big Shed!
I just bonded my solar panels with Sikaflex 221 and will let you know in 10 years how it's going!
Better than ALL (that's ALL) the other Sika products for caravan (fibreglass) roof use.
Definitely no holes requires!

You can even avoid to hole in the roof for the cable by running the cable down the side of the van in a box section conduit then under the floor to where you need it. The conduit can also be glued to the side of the van if need be. Sikaflex.... "bolts in a tube!"
