Just wondering how do you add photos to your posts, I tried to add one I had taken with the I pad but the picture was a huge when I uploaded it ,it covered the whole text area, so I did not post it, The picture of my avatar taken by the same IPad uploaded just fine, but anything uploaded direct to a post comes out far to big.

You need to reduce photos to a size of 800 x 600 pixels first before attempting to post them. I have no knowledge of programmes available for tablets to do the job, someone else can advise on that.

I use a program called photorazor to downsize mine,it keeps the originals & opens a new folder with the smaller size.

Everything I run is Apple - just bought a new iPad Pro last week to take on the road with us but for the life of me I can't work out how to reduce photos in size.

I have the answer now Bear every program on the system is an app ,on the front of your iPad there's a blue App Store icon, press it and all the apps for everything you could ever want will appear, there's even a search window, most apps are free, simply download them ,theres a few photo reducing apps all free, after playing around with the app you will soon figure it out...

I know very little about iPads (but am the resident consultant for SWMBO who has one).
I usually just go to Google for answers & have lots to choose from.
This is one amongst dozens that I found for your question
