I have a thetford toilet system with collection casssett only (no flush tank) and am getting leaks at base of unit in bathroom and the cassett holding unit. any help please

Do you have a wash basin ? - sometimes the drain hose from the basin cracks or is broken allowing water into the area

probably the seal at the top of the cassette leaking you can buy a seal kit for them

My experience was that I thought that I had two leaks in my thetford cassette toilet
The first leak was that each time I removed the cassette, I would find water on the floor where the cassette lives. Each time I used the toilet, I would give it a short squirt, after I had closed the slide valve. This acts as a double seal. This (perhaps an egg cupful of water) was my leak, so before removing the cassette I now open and close the slide valve. This has eliminated that leak
The second leak would appear, after a shower and after travelling. As the water was not clear, then I assumed that it must be leaking toilet water. The shower floor on my vehicle is almost flat. There is no way that all the water will run down the drain hole. I mop the water up with a sponge, after a shower, and squeeze the sponge dry over the bathroom sink.
I knew that prior to travelling that my bathroom floor was always dry I noticed a slight gap in the chalking between the toilet body, and the wall. After resealing this joint, I have had no more leaks.
I will assume that the shower water was getting behind the toilet body, (which must obviously be full of dust), and while I was travelling, this dirty looking water would work its way out, and accumulate on the bathroom floor

Thanks to all for replying. As Tony has indicated that his problems were similar, my suspicions are the same. Dragonfly has also hit the nail on the head with a new seal. I will do both. thanks again.
