Has anybody got one of the new Dometic Harrier Inverter Air Conditioners?
We have one and think that the internal air fan noise is louder than it should be. We would like to know whether other people are having the same problem. They are promoted as having as one of their features, "Extremely quiet operation both inside and outside the RV". The local Dometic service agent had a go at it and achieved only marginal improvement.
Thanks for your help.

Hello vantecho
Firstly welcome to the forum
As Dougwe has already said, your question will get more exposure on the Techies section of the forum
I am sure that if anyone has your type of air conditioner they will come forward, and let you know if they have had noise problems, and how it was fixed

Just ordered a new 2017 model Jayco Starcraft TL Outback, due for delivery 1st week in July, and I have just noticed on our spec sheet that as a standard, we are getting the Dometic Harrier Inverter A/C. It has glowing write-ups. We'll have to see. I was under the impression that we were going to get an Ibis A/C. I'll post a review. Hopefully it is an actual up-grade ??

We have just fitted one onto our bus roof and so far we are very happy with it.
Noise level if anything is less than expected, both heating and cooling is excellent.
I might hazard a guess though and say that fitted to a caravan roof it might be different.
The roof is thinner and might be hollow around the unit making for more resonance, just a thought though.
Cheers,

Thanks everyone for your comments. I guess I'll have to wait & see how it handled the Tropical heat up here in Cairns where we live. Cheers.
