So far I've had 3 radiation treatments at ROC. That's the name of the clinic here in Hervey Bay.
So far so good. I felt a bit nauseous yesterday arvo so took a pill and a lie down. An hour later felt good.
Have also started on the Asparagus treatment I've read about. Certainly can't hurt. And having fresh tumeric on my evening meal.
Might all do some good as found out the other day there is a high chance of this returning. If it's going to, will be within 2 years.
Non Hodkins Lymphoma is very Aggressive Ive been told. Of the 5000 in Aus who get lymphoma each year over 80% get this type. The majority of who will have a good success rate.
No intention of letting this beat me.

Oh I forgot. On my last day of radiation which is Thurs, I get to dunk my hand in paint and leave my handprint on the wall with my name and date I finished.
Looking forward to that.
The walls are covered in them from previous patients.

I'm still cheering for you Marj. Because of other medical problems I have had 3 weeks without chemo. Have an appointment with oncologist on Monday. See what he says then. Regards Alice

Thanks guys. Alice I'm intending to spend 3 or 4 days in your area between my radiation finish and Oncologists appointment.
Try and catch up with a few friends so will see you then.
After the appointment will head south catching a few around the Brisbane as I can't leave till after 13th November as a dear friend will be over from NZ visiting her daughter and she is arranging a surprise high tea.
After that date I will endeavour to head south but as you know all good plans can be out of our control.
