Following sciatica type pain since May the GP and Eril tried acupuncture, exercises, heavy pain killers etc until a MRI finally showed a cyst around L4 & L5. Eril had one on the opposite side 5 hears ago around 9 months after her double knee replacement. It seems it's sister had decided to appear!!
So, tomorrow I have to have her at Melbourne's Coburg John Fawkner pvt hospital by 8 am. Bar an emergency Eril is second cab off the rank so should be out of recovery in time for me to get home in daylight. Fingers crossed. Have to leave a bit after 6!!!
Looking forward to her recovery to get away for some breaks.

Thanks all for the kind thoughts. Eril is tired BUT comfortable.
Emma saw her after work today and said she was she was like a new person!
Pain can be so debilitating as I have found since my accident.
Bad enough me being in pain BUT so worse when Eril is!!
I can go pick her up Friday.

Seems like a dam good excuse to go for a walk ( 20 mins of course ) in the Kimberly, or around the rock.............. enjoy yourselves mate you sound like you've earn't it.

Eril had the staples taken out today. Going along well.
The pvt health supplied meals and the home help well received.
