Now I know that I am being a bit cheeky here, but I love reading the Just Joking section. I have an old Email widow chat Lady in Germany who loves a good joke, so I send her usually one each day to brighten up her outlook on life. She always sends me back a great thank you with a smiley face. Now, all of the colored ones on Just Joking go blue when I try to copy them & while they are fantastic laughter for all of us, how do I transfer them onto an Email to send them on to Margret? I've tried everything I know, and not being overly computer literate, I'm stuck. Please help.

Why not copy them to a word document first then you can change the text and background colour. Save them as a PDF file and send them that way.
If it is a picture right clic the pic and save the picture as into a folder and attach that to the email.

I find that it's better not to clog someone's emailbox with unnecessary attachments.
For example, someone recently posted a text based joke in picture format (why?). Instead of attaching a picture of text, you could perform a quick Google search for the actual text, and then copy and paste the text rather than a JPEG into your email. Alternatively, post a link to the picture and let your friend decide whether she wants to download it.
Note that the second URL (from the GN forum) expires in a matter of days.

I just
- highlight the text (Shift L Click & scroll over it) &
- copy it (Ctrl C) & then
- paste (Ctrl V) into the eMail or whatever you want

I use an iPad and just hold down on the pad and save image pops up and I click on that and then it's in my pictures folder, just attach to an email from there .

I agree, there are too many jokes that were passed around that we are now seeing reappearing in graphical form. The picture form with just the original text adds nothing to the joke, all it does is adds to the internet traffic and destroys the download limit of those on limited download budgets.
On the other hand the simple cartoon jokes are worthwhile. To forward them save them to hour disk first and then add them to the post using the appropriate link below the insertion pane (attach files - in this forum.) To save the graphic from the original posting, right click on the picture, select "save image as" and then follow the prompts to save it in your favoured spot on the computer.
