Just reading on the caravanners forum that a person had total care tow pack and had a bit of an issue
Have a read and maybe contact RACV, I have and awaiting a reply
On a recent trip I got talking to a fellow camper. He was returning home from interstate after a trip he had been planning for ages had to be curtailed due to his wife being hospitalized for a bad ankle break. He had top RACV cover which included shipping of his vehicle and camper home which the RACV were quite willing to arrange so he could fly home with his wife. The catch is that they will only ship home an empty vehicle. In his case his ute was fitted with fridge, drawers etc and packed for a long journey so no way he could comply, hence his lone drive home while another family member flew interstate to accompany his wife home.. Just a heads up for all of us with total care.

Seen a Racq tilt tray the other day with the tug on the tilt tray and towing a large caravan behind it . You could not expect them to look after fridges in transit .

He did say it had to be an empty vehicle
Most people would get rid of food or perishables first

Got a reply from RACV and hopefully the first poster will get notified

Apologies for the delay, I have been on leave.
In relation to the attached, I would appreciate further information.

However, to respond more comprehensively, perhaps the member can contact me directly and I will investigate.
