Stayed one night at the Mukinbudin CP about a week ago or so, the one you and SWMBO managed. Quite a few changes including a new camp kitchen, the manager who took over from you is still there.
The A'Van Club of WA were having a rally there at the time, among others that I knew there I caught up with Mike (Elle & Mike on this forum), a very nice chap.
I would recommend Mukinbudin CP to anyone who is in the area as an aside, very helpful and pleasant manageress.

Vic. Havent chatted with you in ages. Great to see youre back out on the road again - assume health issues are all under control and the plumbing (house that is) is all fixed

Yup great little camp. Lovely facilities.
We had a very successful Avan Club meet up there. As usual using as much as the town can offer, and putting a few $$$$ into the local businesses.
Although Weevil and I only spoke briefly I missed seeing him the next morning. Grey Nomad "Newhorizons" was there as well I had a look at her roof lifting problem. We will probably put new springs in for her. I think she had an equally pleasant time meeting up with the WA Avan club members.

Just took the chance for a break in treatment etc to get away Bruce, only 6 days but well worth it.
Was nice to catch up with Mike and other Avan Club members if only temporarily.
Burst pipes (house that is) all fixed and under control.
Glad you were able to help New Horizons Mike.

Yes, I enjoyed myself immensely. Thanks so much for making me so welcome and it was well worth doing at the end of my trip north. I also got lots of tips from others about how to organise myself into such a compact space as I was in a bit of a mess for most of this trip.
I think I also met Weevil briefly when we were getting on or off the bus trip. Like the others, I was really impressed with the helpful park manager and the amenities. The camp kitchen was amazing and quite unique. ( I took photos) The showers were actually back to back ensuites and were like real bathrooms.
The north east wheatbelt has a lot to offer and for anyone travelling there, get the map called "The Wheatbelt Way" before you go as it shows all the tourist spots around the area.

We weren't far from you. We based ourselves at the Trayning CP and did daily trips rather than drag the caravan all over the place. Called in at Mukinbudin on the Sunday to look at the jet car and hopefully find a shop that was open. Scored on the first and lost out on the second.

Yes, we had a chat on your return outside the ablution block. If you have the time, may I suggest attending the Get Together at Seabird/Gabbadah later this month, it is a terrific meetup at Sue and Phil's place (sufils) and I know you would enjoy it and meeting other GN's there. See this GTG link;

Also a nice time to visit this part of WA.
