Just picked up the latest flyer from Aldi. Specials for the coming week that may be of interest are:
Wednesday 31 August: combined entertainment center/reversing camera/GPS, wireless rear view and reversing camera, GPS system, black box recorder,
Saturday 3 September: four wheel drive and marine items - roll out vehicle roof awning, roof rack, roof rack pack to fit, ratchet tie downs, sleeping bags, snatch strap, recovery track pads, work lights, high lift jack, air compressor, driving lights, power inverter, boat cover, fire extinguisher, spotlight, life jackets.
Plus the usual groceries to keep the wife happy.

KJ - Some of the stuff that Murray has listed is in the WA catalogues - but not all of them. Hardly any of the 4WD gear - but do have the high lift jack. And also the radio/camera/GPS combo.
Makes me laugh that theyre advertising Fathers Day stuff and on the same page - showing solely female gear - like makeup etc.......well, its female over here in WA anyway lol

Latest in Qld does not have the 3rd September in it only covers this Saturday and next Wednesday.

went to a Perth, WA, Aldi yesterday arvo and they now have the catalogue that Murray refers to with all the 4WD fruit etc.
According to one of their (many) Managers there, they print the catalogues in China, fly them to Sydney and then distribute them to the various States which accounts why some places get the latest blurb sooner than others

We went past the new Aldi store in Wattle Grove yesterday ( opened last Wednesday )
Couldn't get near the place for traffic, the whole parking was booked out,
we'll give it a miss for a few weeks, might have a better chance of parking then.

Hey KJ - no, didn't get anything more for nomading - have so much stuff now that a lot of it sits in the garage when we go away lol. Kids in a sweetie shop - "really want (don't really need) that"
Recently bought a set of recovery tracks from SuperCheap on special - $194. Aldi are selling them for $129 grrrrrhhhhh !

Your correct John but most people will also go to woollies and Coles because Aldi don't carry a lot of the branded stuff that people like including the variety of veggies, just imagine Aldi as the only supplier of food stocks with there extremely limited range all be it cheaper...

Yes, You could be right about getting ripped off John, I had a feedback form sent to me a little while ago, by the manager of a local Coles store where we did a lo of our shopping,
One question was..... What do you think of our Fresh veges, Well !!! We had just bought a bag of spuds ,got them home and used some that night, the centres of most of them had turned black. !!!!
I told the Manager this, haven"t heard any more from them, no apology or offer to replace,.... nothing !!
WE no longer shop at Coles for any Veges, we now grow our own, at least we know they are fresh !!!

Yes, You could be right about getting ripped off John, I had a feedback form sent to me a little while ago, by the manager of a local Coles store where we did a lo of our shopping,
