Yea stoney gives me 700 od usable amps. Weighs 65 kgs pluses a bit more for the system but well worth it 800 watt solar going for a bit more so I can use the air con when I want . Gotta love being able to boil the jug use the microb wave or the air con and as above the washing machine .

Remember you know your not allowed to use all that stuff but I forgot to tell you that so like me you will have to flounder on using them and enjoying life till we realise that we just cant do it.
Over 5 years for me and I still have not learnt so still doing it.
Best when it is stinking hot at a camp site and you announce you are going for a SCAN under the aircon for a few hours.
Has Della got all her 240v goodies yet.

The terminology is not correct
It is a 400 AmpHr pack
But like any battery ,the available Instantaneous current is many multiples of that especially with Lis.
But I suspect even that is what not is meant !
I think what is meant that it would require 700Ahrs of La batteries to obtain the same Amphrs Output without damaging the LA batteries

No i think what I ment is 400 amp lithium because it can be discharged to 20% dod against 400 amp gel with its discharge to 50% dos gives about the aqulivant of 700 ish amps . Am I right there Brian . Means I can stay out of the sun longer .
Yea Brian della finished the washing the other day came in with a smile saying she loves her new system . She's all for plugging it into the house at bunny now . It was putting in 10 amps wile running the washing machine . But I'm thinking of going the extra 300 on the roof .

Now because you can regularly discharge them deeper than LAs, that is equivalent to 700 AMPHRS of capacity with LAs[because you will destroy LAs if you frequently discharge them lower than around 50%]that means you can only safely get 350 Ahrs out of them without seriously shortening their life
Peak currents , max CURRENT [AMPS ]they can put out is totally different thing to AMPhrs!!

Iffffff you have 12 volt 100 AMP HR lifeo4 batterie and a 12 volt 100 AMP HR gel batterie side by side . because you can pull 80 AMPS out of a lithium batterie and only 50 AMPSout of a gel batterie it's a bit like having extra power . i think that's rite hahahahaha if it's not I will delete the post but if someone out there thinks they know more than me or better than me they are welcome to help out not put s)8t on me or people who have helped me out .

Have they let you out from under the bridge again Peter, seems you have a tendency to attack rather than try to explain, but I guess that comes from your normal method of operation, if you don't actually know what your talking about then attack and spin B/S as hard as you can blow

I hope Cindy is reading this as the attack on my presumed knowledge from a person who has never met or know me but has continually attacked me on many forums because I will not advise him on the system I have, was not called for and I consider it defamatory and will investigate further.
I did not put anything in the post that was technical on purpose and never will I just made a comment between friends who know each other and know what they have.
Also to say that I must ask my mentor is an insult not only to me but to Terry who has pioneered the development of the batteries.
This person has no knowledge of my experience through my life and I consider it an insult the way he attacks myself and anyone else who does not prescribes to his views.
I left this forum before because of this person and a couple of his mates who were after the data that we have and it appears I will have to leave again as I don't see the need to put up with innuendos from people of the caliber of him.
Dibs has just had his system installed and understandably was excited but did not have to have the electric police jump on him.
If this forum wants no discussion on Lithium Batteries then so be it, but a decision from Cindy would be appreciated.
