We have poor reception out. A full report in time.
We traveled up the Mulluwa Gascoin road. Half way up we jack knifed the new van. We are both ok and only minor damage too rear bumper of our 200 tow truck. Any thing lighter would have been different story.
Resting up and having a good time.
Thank God I covered our break cables before our first trip as we have pulled the wires on front right wheel.
Waddy here in Exmouth has ordered replacement clips. I told you back in Januaray they were carp. The bill I will send to Jayco.
please everyone check your breakers wiring and have them placed in flexable confit.
Warm regards from Sunny Exmouth

Hey Jim,
As a newbie I am very interested in how a jackknife occurs going uphill??
I take it by covering the brake cables you prevented them all being damaged?
Cheers Vince

Phew! Sounds a close shave Jim. Just as well you don't use a cut throat razor mate Was it a Jack knife or a Jim knife, tell the truth now
Keep safe out there and on the roads.

Hello Hey Jim
Firstly, and most important, I am very happy to hear that you and the boss, have come out of a caravan jackknife situation, without any physical injuries
I shall await your report on what happened, and how you are going to ensure, that it does not happen again
Tongue in cheek, but on this occasion spoken in a serious voice Just because you have come to the Wild West, does not give you the automatic right to act wild, and jackknife your caravan, so do not do it again

Hi Jim & Lambie,
I'm at Tom Price and heading there next. Yardie would be my preferred park. I haven't booked as I'm not sure which day I'll get there. (living day by day). Does there appear to be any available sites (either powered or not)? Its a long way to go in there and not get somewhere to stop.
Glad to hear you got through your crisis.

Think you need to Book at the Park Entrance get a site before going in. Not been in there for six years though, you probably do it on line now.
Hi Mike and Ellie,
I think Jim & Lambie are at the Yardie Homestead Caravan Park which is a private park just outside the Nat. Park. I'm hoping to get an unpowered site somewhere even if only for 1 or 2 nights. Yardie would be my favourite as I'm not that bothered by the town, just the beaches. I imagine the nat park sites are all gone by now with the number of people on the road.....but i'll check that website anyway. Thanks. NH

Jim from what I have read it appears your rig was not damaged so it looks like you might have escaped with just a change of underware I hope this is the case good luck.
