New to this site. Husband and I planning to do extended trips each year from next year. Have just returned to the Top End after 4 weeks in outback Qld with the camper trailer. Am looking to purchase a map app and have been browsing this site for up to date info...couldn't find what I was looking for. Can someone tell me the difference between Hema Maps and Hema Explorer, apart from the fact that the latter is half the price of the former? Am after comprehensive maps for bitumen and off road. Thanks, Marita

tWelcome to the gang Marita, enjoy here and out in the playground.
I just use 'Google maps' and sometimes "camps Australia Wide' maps, also 'Wikicamps' maps.
I am on the understanding though that 'Hema' have great maps including 4x4 roads/tracks. The difference you ask about, sorry, not sure. Maybe no 4x4 info in the latter.
Keep Safe on the roads.
