my Offroad van came with 3 water tanks. The front tank has plastic hose fittings and the back two have brass fittings. Of course the front tank fittings didn't last long and the tank drained on our first trip. I can't find a supplier of brass fittings for van water tanks. Would someone be able to help with this and point me in the right direction

If you were on the Gold Coast I could tell you where to go , they are called Hose Suppliers .
Maybe they can send them to you , or direct you elsewhere .

Great to see You here. I travel a lot of gravel roads & only use plastic hose fitting, (wrapped in rubberised matting). Break a couple but better to break a $3.00 fitting than the tank in my opinion.

My choice is brass air line fittings. We were out back a bit when I noticed that the plastic fitting had been sliced of at the tank with a rock, scratching around in my old tool bag found a brass trailer airline fitting, screwed it straight in, a bit of hot water on the hose to soften it, hose clip on, job done.
Now it is one of the older style male fitting that had a rubber hose go over the end and a hose clip to hold it in place, not the new fancy coil type lines with olives.
Now I would image that up there where you are there be transport supplies or engineering supplies shops.
And I am guilty in that I have not changed the caravan over yet but I am carrying a spare for the day it happens.

welcome isanomad had to get a couple for my van went around to different plumbing shops etc
you can get them from van repairers or online to CAMEC the clip ones i got
