A great spot if you have to be in Brisbane area (southside) for a couple of days - off the Mount Lindsay Highway, right hand side near North Maclean (next to the bridge). Plenty of room, turn into Greenbank Rd., then into Beryl Parade - follow to the park entry. There a toilets available at the park near the road, and a servo/roadhouse on corner of Greenbank Rd. Ranger comes before dark to check who is there - 72 hour stay. Water available, dog friendly. Rubbish tins in the park as well. Trucks and traffic through the day, but quiet at night. Plenty of room for big rigs.

We actually knew that, thanks paddlingfool, but it was a "tongue in cheek" post from Rocky Lizard, and my reply was in the same vein. It is indeed "for self contained vehicles only", and we have no problem with that.

Funny to think that as a child, we used to have our Sunday School Picnics at this same park. Then I ended up living close by at Jimboomba, and used to take our dog there for a run. Might try it out when back in the area in a few weeks.

You go in from next to the garage, DM - gps took us that way as well. They have closed from just beyond the toilet block - bit hilly, but not too bad. No truck noise through the night.
