Today I went into a chemist to get a repeat script filled. To my surprise the chemist informed me that when I got the last lot of pills the chemist had given me ones of 240mg strength instead of 180mg. So I have taken these extra strong ones for 29 days. These are a pill to help keep my heart beating in a good rhythm & stop putting so many extra beats in. Coincidently I was coasting along quite happily with my chemo & having hardly any side effects until just over 3 weeks ago when I started having dizzy feeling when standing & being a bit wonky altogether. I automatically blamed these symptoms on chemo but now I can see they started just after starting that extra strong pill which was probably lowering my blood pressure etc. I have enough medical problems without the pharmacies picking on me as well. OK That is my whinge for today. Dizzy headed Alice

I guess it will take a few days on the lower dose for me to get back on an even keel. Alice

My gosh Alice. That is not good enough. Has the previous pharmacy been notified? They should be.
Take it easy and hope now on the correct dose things will get back to normal.
Best wishes for all going well in Bundy. Thinking of you.

Not a good thing to happen at all Alice!!!! We had a friend who had to change doctors, the new doc wanted all his scripts and medication when he visited first. Sitting there, the doc says "so how long have you been on the methadone program?" Used to come of heroin, but is highly addictive itself.
Anyway, friend says - "Not on methadone, never done heroin ever!" Turns out he has been on it for TEN YEARS unknow to him, he has now been weaned off, and is looking so much better, younger and is feeling a lot better as well. You wonder how this could have happened.
