Most of the roads are open now - the crossing at Bedford Weir is still well under water - take a fair while before it is open again. A few others are closed, but when I checked yesterday, most had been opened, some with caution signs. The weather today is blue sky and quite warm.
we are heading north to Emerald on the 5th Aug.
Any update on the flooding and road closures would be good , Thanks in advance.
Try this site. It's Qld Alert and you can access some of the traffic cameras as well.
It is supposed have the latest up to date and emergency info for the road system
